(Updated: October 11, 2021)
Since September 16, Metro Manila was placed under Alert Level 4, which is part of the new five-step Alert Level system to replace the GCQ-MGCQ scheme. Most of the rules are based on age-based mobility as well as indoor restrictions, while interzonal leisure travel is allowed depending on the quarantine guidelines of your destination.
Boracay is now accepting all travelers from MGCQ, GCQ, and the National Capital Region with the exception of individuals with comorbidities.
Here are the latest Boracay travel requirements (as of October 2021):
- Negative RT-PCR test result (swab or saliva) with 72 hours validity for non-Aklanon travelers (List of Licensed Covid Testing Clinics)
- Hotel reservation from Department of Tourism-accredited establishment with Certificate of Authority to Operate
- Government-issued ID
- Travel itinerary
- S-Pass registration (https://s-pass.ph/)
- Health declaration through touristboracay.com
